Access To Work
Does anyone know whether Access to Work are still providing coaches or support workers? I heard today they no longer offer coaches, and have also read a few times about people having their support worker hours reduced.

Thank you! That is good to know. I hope your support is useful to you.

The Red Tories are quietly cutting back Access to Work. If you apply now, it's highly unlikely you'll get what you need.
The same applies to renewals (so people like@durhamjaide2001 above will be in for a nasty surprise come renewal.)

Thanks for the links @Stellar it's interesting as they'd previously stated they were increasing funding to Access to Work.

Thanks @Stellar It is such a worrying time. Unfortunately the information in the links you posted seems consistent with the anecdotal information I've heard. I can't find the source, but I remember something in one of the papers saying about people having their support worker's hours cut.

I think it's best to rely on solid information and evidence right now, there's a lot of rumours doing the rounds, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared. Most governments love taking money from the arts anyway. Which is horrible to see.
