Excellent sunflower there @michael57 I'll see if I can grab a photo of "Son of daughter of son of son of Gigantor" I've been growing the same sunflowers seeds for the past 4 years now and they've never failed to be huge!

Yes, they're a little lopsided (like me) but they've having a lovely time! I've had to make an emergency support for them, as the original stake "mysteriously disappeared" whilst I was ill. 😅

Ah it was until I watered it for him yesterday while dog sitting he still thinks plants grow just by putting a seed in the ground and waiting and when he does water its not even enough for a cup of tea he will learn
