The stigma around conditions like these is still very strong, so it's a real step forward to have identified some of the potential genetics involved. I'll be interested to see whether this helps inspire some further research in the future too.

Ive also seen a link between Fragrance (Particularly the kind derived from Synthetic Petroleum products) being an issue for people with M.E, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome so there could also be a link with that
People in support groups of fragrance/chemical sensitivity often have one or more of the above conditions1
