I have just come across this site, and reading some of your stories.
Little about me I am 43 and was diagnosed with Ms at 32. My ms has progressed and now unable to walk unaided and stop work 5 years ago. I also have heart issue due to another illness and also hypertension. I do live with my partner who is my full time carer and very grateful for everything she has done for me over the years.
My problem is boredom and having to much time to think. I try to do things to help others but always seemsI am treated differently because of my health and told, it's OK we will get somebody else to do it. I was very handy with hands and did alot of building and renovation work I still try use what I learned over the years but get pushed aside or ignored when suggesting a different way or that I can help. I don't have any friends to talk to or anybody to do things with as I cut myself of from the world unintentionally.
So my days are filed with movies and my dogs. Unfortunately getting to the point I can't walk them as much as I would like so my partner has to do it and I feel bad not being able to help more. I feel incredibly inadequate and useless with day to day stuff and it takes alot of strength just to get of bed these days.

Heya @grays29 and a warm welcome to the community. 😁
I hope you don't mind, but I've split your comment off from the discussion as it was from 2019 and I was worried people would miss out on saying hi to you. I hope that's ok?
