Health assessment

I had my health assessment, I recorded the first half an hour.

Since I heard myself back on the recording, it sounds like a completely different person.

I cringed at my answers, I’m worried again now. 🥹

Sorry, I’m a born worrier.
I’ve tried posting here but have made a mess of that too, I’m useless.

Hey Janie2025….don’t say you’re useless. You’re not at all. Well done re posting here. No one thinks they sound like they do in their head…..so not unusual at all. Don’t worry until you have something to really worry about. Then if not sure - get help from anyone , most people care you’ll be surprised. Play some great music you love , or dance if you can and take an interest in what’s going on in the world even if you think everyone is MAD …’cos they probably are! Smile - it confuses people.

Thank you @MD1955 thats great advice, I watched the news and seeing Gaza again breaks my heart, I wish humanity could live in harmony and peace, it’s so sad that no one can help them, well the powers to be could but choose not to, it puts life into perspective.

Janie… you’re right. I’ve got Myotonic Dystrophy which I ‘inherited’ from a gene defect in my family. My brother died from MD in 2021. I struggle to walk and use my hands really as the muscle weakness has set in now. I had to give up driving a year ago before I killed someone. A big miss. But I keep cheerful as lots of other people in the world have it far more difficult. I talk to anyone who’ll listen. Connection is very important. I work hard to keep in touch with people as everyone is so busy. I don’t worry if they don’t contact me as I contact them regularly. x
