Pip review - how do I renew bus pass, car and blue badge while waiting for a review to complete?

hi all
My pip ends middle of next month, had usual texts saying their still reviewing it, forms sent back in March, got text Jan, needed extension for cab to help
Been on pip last 6 years
Read on here payment will carry on whilst in review, (for how long?)extensions for a year, etc
How would I renew my blue badge ,bus pass whilst review is still ongoing, no definite award end date etc?
Car is due for renewal in January to
I am hoping with evidence I get paper review or call rather than face to face, only had that on my first pip
On enhanced mobility , standard living(got 10 pts 3 years ago) think with worse health, and proof sent, hoping to get the extra 2 pts.
If extended for year, could lose out on that
Course if it does then I know get same , but then could they do same an ask for review 7-8 months before end of year extension?
Also is it another review have to go through all this again! Or will they use what I sent in March, but things may of changed (health worse etc) in that time
Sorry for long post, as only got couple weeks left till it ends, starting to get worried, maybe other been in same situation
Thanks

Hi @ste_r, payments of your existing award will carry on for as long as it takes them to make a new decision.
It may be worth ringing the PIP enquiry line to see if they have any updates. Sorry if I've misunderstood, have they already extended your claim while you wait for your review? If so, you should be able to ask for a letter to be sent out with the extension date on so that you can do your Blue Badge and bus pass renewals.
If not, you could try speaking to the council that issues your Blue Badges as it's likely they will have come across similar cases. They may be able to assess you without a PIP claim, or provide some kind of alternative solution while you wait for your review to come through. This can be different for each council so it's worth checking what their rules are.
Hope you can get everything sorted without too much stress ☺️

As Rosie says, every council has its own practice when dealing with concessionary travel, so it's worth contacting them (they should have a phone number or an online portal that you can contact them through) to enquire about their rules.
In our area, our conc travel team deals with this situation in the following ways:- Asking for additional medical evidence, so doctor letters, statements from care workers/support workers, prescriptions, etc.
- Asking a person to fill in a longer (discretionary) form in which they detail their difficulties in the way you might in a PIP form - this can be used on its own in the case of a review.
- Renew the pass for a shorter term (usually a year) while the review is ongoing, giving the claimant time to get the review completed. Then after that the claimant can reapply as before and get the full term.
No guarantee every area does this but it's something you can ask about when you contact them.
Re the PIP extension letter - I know that here, those are not always considered as evidence if the end date is within a calendar year. The other forms of evidence may be given greater weight, so double-check with your local team :)

thanks for replies
IF pip gets extended for a year(if) car is due for renewal in January, read somewhere you need 12 months left on pip to get a car, what happens if you have less than 12 months left?
sure others have had same situationMany thanks
