CTR reduced wrongly and in Error
hi everyone ☺️
I’ve just discovered this as I’m on the autistic spectrum.
I check research
Study case laws
Especially when I know I’m correct 🙈
Hopefully this information can be passed on to help I’m gonna thousands of other's who have found themselves having had there CTR reduced on migrating from legacy benefits.
Under legacy benefits I had full CTR
When I migrated nothing changed but all of a sudden I got a CT bill where I was in arrears went to several different bodies all saying no now you must pay
I reported that my TP payment on my UC is supposed to be disregarded the same as housing element ect
In thd end I gave up untill I did one last look I’m glad I did
Because your transitional Element of UC is being used as part of your income this has put a lot of individuals in the 75% CTR award which not only cost me money but also a £100 summons I was made pay under duress 🙈🙈🙈
I’ve written a level one complaint asking for a full refund of all sums I’ve been forced to pay since move to UC.
I will try and share the link I came across
Hope this is useful information 🥰
