@pooleemily29 hello
thank you for the suggestion, but i have actually been in supported living for the last 3 years until June 5th this year.
my specific situation ended up being incredibly toxic and detrimental to my mental health, as well as incredibly negative for my cat- which is why myself and my family argued with my carers for the last 2 years before finally giving up and getting me moved by ourselves.
please dont take this as the universal experience for supported living- there are many placements out there that i'm sure are absolutely lovely, i just seem to have pretty bad luck with everywhere i've lived since i was 14 lol
i also am unfortunately completely unable to work- both my physical disability and my mental health issues (even when stable) prevent me from holding even a volunteer job at a pet shop for more than a week (please adopt don't shop though, i was just desperate).
i hope your epilepsy doesn't prevent you from doing what you want, one of my brothers has epilepsy too, so i wish you all the best.
thank you : )

@MaxAardvarkWisbey Good morning thank you for that. How are you? And your cat. That's really kind of you say m. I can understand the frustration id love to work problem is I cant either due my physical disability of Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy on my right side besides my epilepsy and my Hydrocephalus. I hate it having Epilepsy if honest it frustrates me thsn anything probably more than angers me but I'm soldier of sorts so I just have to find ways of getting on with it. Good luck with everything. Im here if you want to talk about anything. Please don't hesitate to message me on here. @pooleemily29 ๐๐

First of all Max you are doing incredibly well, look at how far you have come through the daily challenges you face. May I suggest you share your budget plan with your grandparents so they can see exactly the challenges you face with regards to your finances. Also Max you can request fortnightly payments from UC if that would help with your budgeting, just explain your circumstances and how this would help you manage finances better if this is what you prefer to do.
Good luck my friend, keeping moving forward, youโve got this!1 -
