Yep, every night for the last 32 years, you get used to it.

I go out like a light, one of the few things i'm good at. Just looking at my tablet for a bit first.

@Mamabear77, 40 years of it,no help from gp,not remotely interested, I am a basket case because it it,I've had a particularly bad time this month of insomnia.

It can be a factor in Non alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) which i now how.

I'm exhausted, fatigued, cranky. And its hard enough for those with no particular health conditions to contend with but ive so bl**dy many on top of it too.

You've my sympathy, ive never got used to it,it impacts on my life too harshly. I have trouble dropping off and if i do eventually i'm awake so many times overnight and only get v quick naps or else solid staring at the ceiling nonsense.

You're like a friend of mine, I guess. He browses the internet on his tablet for 10 minutes and then he's off for 10 hours. He never even bothers to set an alarm on his phone, as it can't wake him up. Fortunately, he lives with his family.

I can't recall when was the last time I had 8 hours of sleep a night.

Some people can't even understand you if you tell them you've sleep problems, as they take sleeping for granted.

Years of not sleeping until 6 months ago my psychologist made me see my GP … won't prescribe me anything addictive because of past drug addictions. Gave me Melatonin and it's a godsend. Waking up is the issue now 😁
