Universal Credit and people Plus
Hi
I need some advice about universal Credit and people plus Im currently signed off by my doctor as I suffer with my mental health I also have panic attacks I'm on medication for this that I take daily I also look after my partner who has health problems and my son who is 3 they told me today I have to start taking courses of things I want to do and I need to make a list of what I would like to be considered for I said I can't even think about that it's just all to much I got upset but she didn't seem to really care and told me she needed the list next time I saw her I'm waiting to hear back from a limited capability for work form but she said she needed the list I just wondered where I stood with making the list or going on the courses which right now is not even something I could do orthink about thanks so much

Unfortunately, having a fit note doesn't 'stop' regular appointments for you to prepare for work, you won't be made to apply, but take reasonable steps to improve your chances of working. This will continue until you are assessed and placed in the LCWRA group, the LCW group will also require appointments to prepare yourself to go back to work if this is awarded potentially.
Some work coaches do switch off commitments, but not all, which seems has happened in this case. It is entirely at their discretion. Please keep on sending fit notes with no gaps until a determination has been made on your capability to work.
