Hi all. Just need some advise. My partner and I get help with our rent from u.c. he works full time, I've been out of work for a while. Anyway, I started selling my stuff on vinted to have a bit of money, and banking it each time, to buy shopping, essentials etc. This morning, u.c told me to sign and agree to stuff, and my next payment is zero. They've not mentioned why at all. The only thing.i can think of is that I'm frequently selling on.vinted, like £5 or maximum £20. Then I bank it. The moat I've added is £200 over 3 months. Has anyone had this with uc also. Thanks 😊

What did you agree to and sign with UC?

What does your latest payment statement with a zero award say?

If you post any screenshots please ensure all personal details are blacked out.

Hi thankyou for replying. They sent me an email and I went into uc and I had to sign that I agreed with the terms and conditions, like I have done in the past. Then it was, see your payments, which are due on 6th. I'm very confused, as we have always done things above board, and they didn't give any reasons whatsoever as to why they came to that decision. I put a note to my work coach, asking why. The only thing I can think of is vinted, as I apply for jobs regularly and put them on there. I'm very upset.

Your payment statement should contain some clues, have you read through it?

Yes I have, that's what's confused me, in the past we have had reduced payments as my partner does a lot of overtime so that causes it, just to keep us afloat. But there's no reason as to why. I did read that vinted shares seller data with hmrc, they then share this to dwp and u/c.

Have you looked at a previous statement where you have been paid, and this latest one, to compare them and spot any differences?

Has your partner had more overtime than normal over August, which could have reduced this UC payment to zero?

In February this was, but they said it was because of overtime. Now absolutely nothing, no reasons. I will have to wait for a response from them on Monday. Its possibly this, but because they won't say, I'm having to guess all sorts.
