DLA Backpay
I received my award text on Wednesday at 12:58pm confirming that my daughter qualifies for DLA. i rang several times and was given no information over the phone. My friend got awarded yesterday for her son and her backpay went in this morning but I have received nothing. Should I be worried? We both bank with Lloyds. Our scan dates were the same, my daughter was awarded Wednesday and my friends son awarded yesterday. Is this normal?

It is normal, you should receive your payment on Monday. DWP have a special team who process back payments separately which may be the reason your payment is later then your friends.

3-5 working days is the standard timeframe, it should be on Monday but if it gets to Wednesday and still no payment, phone DLA to check. It is rare for a payment to be over 3 days though which brings you to Monday.
