Hi, my name is tine23! Can my son claim UC if he's on a supported internship?

My son is in a supported internship for one year and gets enchants pop.Can he claim uc in his own right? as we are on uc and on low income.

hi and welcome to the forum as far as I'm aware supported interns don't get paid so this wouldn't affect any benefits. However he would be able to access something called Access to Work which can provide transport, equipment and a in work support worker/job coach.
The other things that I would like to recommend in this forum is the coffee lounge for a general chat and the games den for some fun.0 -
thank you yes he has a job coach but they told me it would affect universal credit,I am disabled my self so on low income and I know they say your family can support you.
