Hi, my name is TRIBUNAL1970_cost! How do I claim UC as a carer?
I’m a caregiver for my autistic daughter her pip review got cancelled waiting on tribunal court date.just asking for information on how to get Universal Credit to understand I’m not available to work because of my full time caregiving commitments.

I'm sorry to hear you're waiting on a tribunal date, hopefully they won't keep you waiting long. I'd suggest looking at a benefits calculator, just to make sure you're receiving all the help you can.0 - 
            
Does your daughter have a current active PIP award?
If she doesn't, you can explain the circumstances to UC and hope your work coach is reasonable, they do have a limited amount of discretion.
If they won't budge, you can ask for a Mandatory Reconsideration of the decision not to place you into the no work commitments category.
