I've struggled with this condition since diagnosis last year and have lost many months from work in the past few years. My gp has suggested my job is too physically demanding but I'm so worried about being able to cope financially. Has anyone been awarded PIP for fibromyalgia?

Hi Heather and welcome
PIP is a benefit that looks at your ability to do some everyday tasks and not so much about your condition.
It is entirely possible to be awarded PIP with fibro if you fulfill the criteria
Try taking the self test on the B&W site

Please come back with any questions or if we can help further

Hi @HeatherM23, take a look at this thread from earlier in the year: it sounds like that it's how your condition affects you that's important, rather than the diagnosis itself. Hope that helps!0
