Just started having a carer come in daily
I am disabled and my partner has always cared for me, but because he has some ailments he now struggles to wash and dress me. So I was referred to adult social care for help in getting carers in and carers assessment for ray.
Now bit we now confused with is having carer come in so wash and dressing a change in circumstances with benefits etc
Currently we in recept of PiP higher both , UC just moved over on to it not long ago which includes the new style contribution based esa and health element. Then my partner has carers allowance and lower pip
If anyone can advise on what we need to do next or if itโs something my social worker would automatically do.

Does your partner get Carers Allowance, and/or Carers Element paid under UC?
Is your partner still providing a minimum of 35 hours caring for you?
Caring does encompass many things not just washing and dressing ๐

In which case no changes need to be reported for any of your benefits.
