esa to universal credit
Hi,
I am a male, 64 years old and have been in the ESA support group for 8 years now due to a disability.
I have just filled in the form to migrate to Universal Credit.
Today I have received an email saying I have to go to an appointment at the job centre next Monday.
I am very worried about this as I am not good with interviews and panic and say the wrong things.
Has this happened to anyone else and why do you think the appointment is about?
Thank you all

If you sign into your Journal (online UC account), it should say what the appointment is for.

It just says I have an appointment to review my situation and agree new commitments.
As I said, I am not good at interviews and worry they will cut my money if I say something wrong0 -
Do you have someone that can go with you for support?
Personally I'd take in some paperwork that confirms you were in the Support Group for ESA, to be on the safe side.
