PIP daily living app6
The DWP contacted me on 09/09/2025 and said that they have received my 2nd PIP appeal to the FTT, but it will take some time to get a hearing date. My 1st PIP appeal timescale to the FTT was 5 months before I was able to get a hearing date. How will it take to get a hearing date from the DWP for my PIP appeal to the FTT.

Unfortunately none of us can predict the timescales as they are different across the country and at different times of year. Around 6 months wouldn't be unexpected though. There are a lot of cases waiting in most areas. Sometimes you can ask to be on a 'short notice' list, so if anyone drops out the day before and leaves an empty slot, you can be contacted for it. Works best for people who can cope with sudden changes and won't need to organise childcare or time off work etc.
