Dentist - Struggling with Dental Care – Reasonable Adjustments Not Taken Seriously
Comments

I've got an update, the "principle dentist/practice owner" got back to me and said they aimed to respond within 10 working days.
I'm really hoping that they can make the adjustments for me, I just want my teeth to be properly sorted and to hopefully have some dentures at some point.

This is good news, thank you for the update @Nashota. Fingers crossed they can make the adjustments for you!

Update - Heard back from the practice and the person has noted my reasonable adjustments down, she did warn that it could make treatment more difficult and did kindly offer to refer me to a community dentist if I preferred, so I'm going to tell her that for now I'll see how I get on with the adjustments and that I may be interested in a referral depending on how things go, I'm going to mentioned that currently my main concern is the tooth that the crown has fallen off and I'm going to clarify a couple of things in my response with regards to being leaned back and moulds, just so they think they can't lean me back or I can't have the moulds at all.

I would say you would be better going to a community dentist in a hospital because they deal with special needs so as well as anxious patients so they would be the best person to treat you.

I can still ask for a referral but it'll take 8 - 9 months I think she said and I can also go to both, I'm thinking about asking her to refer because I do have a tooth that needs to be extracted further back that the last dentist that I saw suggested referring me for, but for now I just want to see how things go and see what is said when I next go to the dentist.

That's good news that you can do both @Nashota, do you have the date for your next appointment at your regular dentist yet?
