PIP - paper based assesment

Hi,
I requested a paper based assesment as i was not able to do a telephone assesment.
Capita called me last Tuesday and asked for further information, the call lasted just under an hour and towards end of it the lady said the information i had supplied was brilliant, she had no disbelief that i wouldnt be awarded and everything i had sent confirmed my significant needs.
What do we think this means pls and is it a good sign?
She also said she would get the report done on the same day but after having called them and DWP - they are still yet to finish the report and this has not been sent to DWP.
Can someone clarify why this might be pls as getting anxious - really just want to know now

If the report was selected for audit (an internal process by Capita) this will delay PIP receiving the report. Unfortunately there are no timescales for this.
It is the DWP decision maker that decides on your claim. They usually, but not always follow the assessors recommendation.

Update - got the text this morning at 8am- requested assesment report - they said could take approximately 2 weeks. Is this true? how long does it usually take to arrive after requesting it?

It can take two weeks for the assessment report to arrive but it may arrive sooner. They probably say two weeks even if they think it will arrive sooner to stop lots of people calling to chase it up after a week or so. If it doesn't arrive after two weeks do call PIP again. I supported someone recently where PIP "forgot" to post it out.
