Claim closure request but gone to a decision maker
HHi, I've been on LCWRA for a number of years (mental health) but got a part time job In march. It went well so when they offered me full time hours, I acceoted. Now I know I coyld still get LCWRA, but I decoded to close my claim as the stress of UC makes me decline (thus issue included!) And I can manage on my wages.
I requested on Friday 12th to close my claim, and after chasing them, I got a message to say there's an outstanding referral that's with a decision maker (see below)
What on earth could this mean?! My mental health has taken a massive dive, I've not slept, I've had a panic attack and I haven't got a clue what this could be about!
Anyone got any ideas? Tha ks so mich for any advice

Hi,
The referral is probably just because of the claim closure request.
The general UC staff may not be allowed to close claims with LCWRA for the safety of vulnerable people.
Hopefully nothing to worry about and you will get another message from them soon.
