How is your day going?

I haven't felt able to post for a few days. I have read everyone's posts though. I just want to pass my love and prayers to all of you who have been struggling over these past days.
I like to here about everyone's day on here be it funny, sad, good or bad. We all have different ways in expressing our feeling's and your day and how it's going should be shared how you want it to be. I think it's precious being able to share to a post, where you will hopefully find empathy, understanding, help, advice and supportive words. We share our local weather reports, our favourite pictures or funny stories and our memories, difficulties, worries, happiness or sadness. Keep feeling able to share, whatever your day has been for you.❤️

Hi @Bluebell21. I can understand your view on the number of different discussions. Please be assured we aren’t trying to force people to post in certain places depending on the type of day they’re having and would never mean to be judgemental. We want to offer options for people to post in different places. Sometimes we may move posts to their own discussion if they are derailing the conversation. This gives the poster their own space and allows both conversations to continue without becoming confusing.
We’ll definitely take on board what you’ve said.

Sorry to hear you've been struggling @Elvisdog. Are you feeling any better today? Things have been tough for some people recently and we want them to receive support- that's what we're all here for 😊

I'm sorry you're in pain @Amberpearl. I have osteoarthritis and GTPS worse in my right hip and outer ankles 😬. Have you got any pain relief, I know you're waiting for an xray.
Did you get rid of your mice? Did they just go of their own accord? The council came to fill in a hole in my concrete outside, said they think it's a rat (think they were just being 'sympathetic' saying 'A rat' , I don't think they'd just come one by one 😬, it's gross. My yorkie had been peering for weeks down the cracks between paving stones sometimes screeching. I thought it was ants as I'd seen a couple.

What does misery love?
“Misery loves company” is an adage that lived before de Gravina and will outlive all of us. Over time, it has come to have a bad rep with the most common understanding being that those who are unhappy make others unhappy too, or bask in the sorrow of others.15 Oct 2022
(said by somebody, somewhere)
I say misery, like joy, is contagious.

@Katiedimelow20 I've deleted the previous post for you. I'm sorry you're feeling so anxious all the time and that you can't talk to your mum. Is there anything you can do to look after yourself like listening to music or playing a game?

I'm sorry @Katiedimelow20. It must be exhausting having to mask all the time. Maybe have a look at the Games Den to take your mind off things for a little while. I know it isn't the answer to your problems but even just being distracted by something fun for a little while might help 😊

@Katiedimelow20 ive spoken before of some of the similarities with your feelings and mother with my own parents. I won't bore you with them details.
My late sister had BPD and psychosis and was sectioned often. She decided to change her next of kin to me, as she felt uncomfortable with my mum knowing everything. It gave her some control back.
I left home when I was 21yrs so I had some control of my own life. I found my feet more though with counciling, it wasn't easy but I started to feel much more in control of my own life. I don't know if you have access to anything like that or have already tried this? Doctor's surgeries often have wellness clinics. im also not sure why you can't see your GP etc on your own? im appointees to both of my adult son's, if they want me or someone else with them then I try to help but I hope that I always give them the opportunity to make their own decisions. My eldest son has direct payments and has support from a carer for several hours a week, she goes shopping with him, takes him to appointments and it's up to him what he wants to do.
I think you may need someone independent who can help you with your difficulties. The only time they will usually pass details to other agencies or family is if they are concerned there is a threat to your life or someone else's.
I really hope you can get some support. I really feel for you.
@WhatThe I assure you that im not basking in others sorrows, im 58 and have had a most colourful life. If I see someone with a struggle and I think I may be able to give a bit of encouragement or advice then I will try. If I see a picture that makes me smile I may post a picture that I think may make others smile. It's my human trait Sept 2025.

Are you sure WhatThe was addressing you? I don't know, but I didn't get that impression.

You can insist on seeing the GP alone, can you not? You aren't a child and have a right to privacy.
