Hello, I have fibromaygia and have been unable to work for a decade. I receive universal credit and pip. I want to apply for an advanced learner loan for a counselling qualification but Im worried that an outstanding loan from 1997 (though I haven't heard from them in over 10 years) with the student loan company that got sold to honour student loans - anyway will applying for the advanced learner loan make them aware of me again and start chasing me?
