Hi, I'm new on here and could really do with some help.
I receive universal credit, higher rate pip and esa.
I live with my daughter who us moving out . My support worker says I now qualify for the severe disablement allowance.
I have phoned the dwp who said I apply online but I can't seem to find where?
I would be most grateful for any advice.
Many thanks

Your support worker is incorrect, SDP is not paid with Universal Credit. No disability premiums are.

Hi @AlexandraClare and welcome to the community.
Kimi87 has linked some great information there. You can only get SDP on income-based benefits.

OP gets Universal Credit which means their ESA is New Style Contributions Based.
No one can be paid Universal Credit & IR ESA because UC replaces IR ESA.

Ah I see. Thanks for that @Kimi87, I've just come back from maternity leave and this slipped my mind. I'll edit my comment 😊
