Morning all
I have woken up exhausted again but I am going to go out for a while later as I will be stuck indoors for the next couple of days.
I hope you all manage to have a good day.

I've DM'ed you now Amberpearl. It might be worth you asking your GP to refer you to physio in the meantime. My area is a long wait for that, my appt is 3rd Oct/waited c 12 weeks.
I've set up my 'cat repellent' machine near to where there's supposed to be 'A rat' ๐. I think it's supposed to repel rodents too so I'll see but no movement in the soil close by since I set it up. Im still feeding the birds but making sure there's no spillage.

I hope you are doing ok today @Catherine21 . I use the term 'ok' loosely - it will take time and, I'm sure, many, many up and down days. Just thinking of you anyway and sending love and hugs xx ps always feel to DM me at any time too.

@Catherine21 I'm so sorry to hear that you also had a similar background with your childhood. Thank you for your very kind words, it means alot. when i lost my sister in 2008, I felt that I lost the only person who knew the whole truth of what we had endured. It's something that has bothered me with my own sons and Niece and Nephew , we were always fiercely protective of them, but our own mental health was difficult for them. Im happy to say that even through all of the challenges and there has been many, they are all doing well. You sound like you are doing very well too. I understand the very close relationship you had with fifi and your other pets, im exactly the same. My dog is 13yrs now and I'm already worried about him not being with me, he is my shadow follows me every where, my best friend. I really feel your loss, I hope that you get through the grief and to a place where you can remember the happier memories. We make the best of what we have.

@Katiedimelow20 i hope you are feeling ok today. You have been so brave sharing your feelings with us. Don't give up, use all of the support you deserve to have. I have used charities such as The Samaritans to talk too, we also have a charity called Pal's, im not sure if it is nationwide? They can look into questions or concerns that we may have with our mental health support. I do hope you get some clarity with your own rights and needs. Thinking of you going through these struggles and hard times.

Good morning Amberpearl/everybody.
I'm sorry for your struggles Amberpearl especially with pain (and interrupted sleep). I can relate so well!
IF you (or anyone) needs help with arthritis, I cannot recommend highly enough Versus Arthritis charity. Their number is 0800 5200 520 open 0900 to 1800hrs Mon to Fri. Their helpline closes at midday on the last Friday of the month. They can advise prior to diagnosis too.
They have (a limited) number of licences to distribute their online course, 'Pathways through Arthritis'. I found their meditations unexpectedly, and hugely straightforward and helpful for managing pain and have unlimited access once the course is completed. They also have You Tube videos for exercises although I've not seen them.
We have to find ways to manage the difficult aspects of arthritis, whatever form it takes, as it's progressive. For me, managing pain was the starting point as it can negatively affect so much else in our daily life.
Please feel free to DM me Amberpearl but I'm sure/hopeful that you'll get much-deserved support here too ๐ซ xx.
