very strange assessment pip assessment person asked do you go on your own to gp and does the carer go in the appointment with you why ask the exact same question like if she goes with me why wouldn’t she go in with me

It may be that the assessor was trying to ask two slightly different questions. Asking whether you go to the GP on your own may be relevant to your mobility and your ability to plan and follow a journey. Asking whether the carer goes into the appointment with you may be relevant to socially engaging with others.
