Hi, my name is 2106096936! Friend has received new PIP forms. Would attendance allowance be easier?

My 67 year old friend has been receiving Pip since November 23. Her disability has worsened and she informed DWP and they sent her a new form with a set date for its return. The new forms seem so daunting for her, her concentration is not good and she’s concerned that the DWP will stop her payment altogether if she fails to provide enough evidence or misses out something vital! She thinks applying for Attendance Allowance might be easier. Any advice please.

What is her current PIP award?
As she is now state pension age, no change upwards can be made to her mobility award.
Only Daily Living can be increased.
Attendance Allowance doesn't have a mobility component.
With either benefit she can get support filling in the form.
