It is my favourite weather which is bright blue skies and quite chilly but not too chilly but enough to wear a jacket and I have a free Starbucks coffee so today is starting off goodπ

Its a beautiful sunny day here.
It makes me feel good.

The sun's out again and it's lovely and crisp outside today.

Tried out my heated mitts last night, when I was out with Gus. Very warm indeed! ποΈ

I had a positive commitments meeting at my job centre and was really impressed with the kindness and friendliness of the staff there.

Funnily enough, I saw the same in the park a few weeks ago, I stopped & watched for a while, then had to move as one was taking it seriously. π
Good news for me today, the height adjustable kitchen worktop was fitted. It is rather good & comes up higher than I thought it would which is also brilliant for me, all at a touch of a button. It also has a pop up 3 plug socket tower with a couple of USB ports. π

That sounds incredible! I hope you get good use out of it.

This is great news @JessieJ! How are you finding it so far?
Ooo heated mitts?? They sound brilliant @Chris75_, my hands get soo cold in the early mornings I may have to buy a pair, are they similar to the heated warming pads that you can put in the microwave?
This is lovely to know @Kookee! It's always so nice to hear positive experiences as those meetings can be quite anxiety inducing so thank you for sharing!1 -
I have been stuck indoors for a few days but the sun is shining and I am going to go out and enjoy it today.

That sounds great @luvpink. I'm feeling chilly at home but I've got my favourite Nightmare Before Christmas mug filled with a lovely hot green tea.

It is & I will do, it's another life changer, all thanks to the DFG. π Just the auto door opener to go. Enjoy your heated mitts, Chris. I have some but didn't get on with them, they got too hot! π
I will be trying it out later, @Mary_Scope, I actually can't wait to prep & cook a meal, hopefully in one go. βΊοΈ

Each mitt has a lithium battery inserted into it, and you can select three heat settings. They are quite bulky mitts, not that easy to squeeze the speed lever on my scooter, but better than numb, painful hands. π₯Ά

It's the season finale of Alien Earth tonight, along with a new episode of Gen V AND a new season of Slow Horses just started. Wohoo!

I did manage to get out and enjoy a bit of the sunshine.
I had a nice chinese takeaway for tea and now I'm going to watch the soaps.

They sound better, much better. Mine have a square fibre covering over the flat heating element, so you can remove them & put into different gloves, but no heating control. So they just get hotter to the point of ouch, even though I wear compression gloves under them. I now just wear the comp gloves another pair of gloves then sheepskin sleeve gloves. A pain if I need the loo out though! π

I found that no amount of gloves were helping. The gloves were warm on the inside when you examined them, but my hands stayed painfully cold. This only stated a few years ago, I was never a cold person.
It is strange, I didn't even turn them on tonight, and was out over 2 hours. They have permaloft insulation inside, and that proved enough. The winter will be the test!

Lol my not so large ball of fur and love is currently asleep up my back. Be lost without them wouldn't we.

Omg look at those ears, just gorgeous π, they know how to get comfy!! I've just had one on my feet, one sprawled across my head, one in my back and one at my tummy. Been able to get a coffee now they've budged π€£. Wouldn't change a thing π« π.

Like becoming disabled not born disabled I experienced loss. As in ability to do what I once could. But having my wee pup and cat saved me. Love them
