I've noticed it too. And they're not exactly what you'd call a luxury purchase either. We buy them because we need them. And they're expensive.
That said ,a few months ago one of the community nurses told me I could get them from the surgerys incontinence clinic. Gave me the phone number but I never followed it up. I find having a waterworks problem embarrassing enough without that. At least age concern send them in what they call 'discreet packaging '. No one knows what's in the box when it's delivered. Nor do they need to

I was born with Spina Bifida and have been getting them on prescription my entire life, you seriously need to look into that
