LCWRA payments question

Hi all, I'm Nikky and I'm new here.
Got question about LCWRA, had a decision last week and I was given LCWRA.
I'm off work since January 2025 after big surgery, supplying fit notes(post recovery, stress, etc.) since that time(all accepted).
Started assessment around 3-4 months ago, was waiting quite a bit for a decision.
Just received my new UC statement and there is no back payment only 1 month(£423 I believe).
Can anyone please explain should that be backdated? Thanks a lot.

You were fortunate to have LCWRA added to your award so quickly after the decision! Backpack is calculated separately and this usually takes several weeks at least. You'll know when this has been done as a letter will be added to your Journal stating the amount owed due to underpayment. The money will then be paid within a few working days. A few notes: LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods before LCWRA is added to your payment. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period. The waiting period dates from your first Fit Note. Any gaps in your Fit Notes will impact the start of waiting period. Please note it's the date they are given to UC that counts, not the start date written on them. 0
