I am not fit for work I had this message from universal credit do I need to worry about it
Had this today Hello, Jobcentre is offering voluntary support. Would you like to have a chat about how we can help you? We can talk about how we can support you, and we can identify things you can do to help you take the next steps – but only when you’re ready to. For example, we can talk about: - developing your skills - building your confidence - the things that matter to you - potential options for the future This chat is voluntary for you. It will not cause us to re-assess your capability for work. The amount of Universal Credit you receive will not change. If you want to know more, please reply to this journal message and I can arrange a quick phone appointment to discuss this when it is convenient for you.

No please don't ever worry. It's worse than pointless and they're just doing an occasional check. Good luck, it'll be fine 0

@tulisapavloff1 It's generic. You have no need to worry though your concern is understable. Please don't stress. The sad thing is, that for many of us, there aren't any "next steps"; the best we can hope for is that our disabling condition plateaus rather than progresses. That message might be being sent out to the terminally ill for whom the words "potential options for the future" are grossly inappropriate. 2
