Reviews

hi guys hope you are all well ☺️ just looking for timescales - I sent my review forms off in May they were received, had a text 28 August saying still looking at my claim etc!! I know people are waiting upto a year but I wondered if anyone could give me an idea of times? My is due to run out November I know we still get paid etc! I sent a lot more evidence in than they had the first time and I did win at tribunal the first time but have sent loads more evidence. Just wondering on timescales and with me sending more evidence and the initial tribunal decision letter in what is the likely outcome or progress? Thanks in advance everyone! Sending hugs 🥰

Hi
So I sent mine in April, currently it states that it's taking 38 weeks, however I am betting this is an average as I am aware people are waiting over 52 weeks.
It also depends if they decide to send you for a face to face or if they award from the review paperwork.
Hopefully they get more efficient and effective.

Mine were submitted in April. I believe average is about 38 weeks, but this is dependent on if you get a decision without needing a face to face assessment.
Face to face I believe is 50 -52 weeks, although I have heard people waiting longer.
Let's hope efficiency and effectiveness improves at the DWP 😂

My review took just over a year to get done, they caved shortly after I applied for a tribunal. Fingers crossed they wont keep you waiting too long. 😊

I'm waiting for my review to start, my award letter states that I will be contacted after 28/9/2025 so anytime from now really.
I will start receiving my pension on 28/1/2026 so hopefully if im awarded again I will be able to claim pension credit also.

You could be waiting a fair while longer I'm afraid @slm waits can be over a year currently, but you'll still receive your current award until the review is finished.

I think it varies but not sure why!
My review started in March this year, I sent the form back in April and I was re-awarded pip beginning of September using a paper based review!
The silver lining is that you will still be paid even if a decision hasn't been made by the time you pip award is supposed to end

Congratulations on your award.❤️
I sent off my review form in May and Nov due to run out. I know my pip review is in the queue with all the other piles of reviews waiting to be processed still, so I was told by a pip agent the other day!
What amazes me is how and why some pip reviews are process much faster than others? The uncertainty of the whole process from start to finish is mind boggling to say the least!
