attending job center for universal credit migration
Hi I really dont go out unless its absolutely necessary like hospital appointments etc. I'm incontinent and have to wear pads all the time also I suffer badly with anxiety and have frequent panic attacks. so I'm hoping I can have a telephone assessment instead of going to the job center any idea if this will be ok or how I go about it please.

If your ID can't be confirmed online, you can ask for either:
A biographical id check, this is a telephone call where you are asked questions about your personal details
Occasionally the DWP don't hold enough information about you to carry out the ID check this way
A home visit
There is a wait for this service, and it may delay your first payment.
Once you've applied online for UC, you will have access to your online account known as the Journal. You would write a Journal note requesting an alternative id check.
