Hi @nicemice454 and welcome to the community.

To cancel the appeal, they'll need to write to the courts to request a cancellation.

They state they prefer for the tribunal service to be contacted in writing to ask for a cancellation of an appeal if the appeal date is more than ten days in the future.

The address will be on the letter they should have received from the tribunals service. 😊

sorry to ask once again but can she send a email to request cancellation to the email below or do you mean she has to write a actual letter and post it.

the lady being autistic struggles to do things like this herself so hopefully the email will be quicker and easier for her to do if she can.

i,m not sure if that is the correct email to send cancellation request to. thank you once more for helping.

That email relates to a helpline if you have questions about appealing decisions, not HM Courts & Tribunal service.

Can someone close to her not type and print out a letter, written as if by the lady herself? Then all the lady needs to do is read the letter then sign it. Pop it in a postbox then it's all done.

You can try emailing them on that email address yes, but they may well ask for a formal letter of withdrawal, in writing, sent to them via the mail @nicemice454.

If emailing doesnt work, would you be able to maybe help her with the letter (it can be typed on a computer and printed out) and she just signs it?
