ESA to UC migration

in Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

good afternoon I hope someone can help me please

My son has moved over from esa to UC , yesterday he got a letter from HMRC

Part 1 ESA allowance claim

Part 2 new employee details / details of employee leaving work

Has anyone else had this ? What we need to do any advice please ?

    Hi,

    That is just a P60 form. Everyone gets this when migrating from ESA to UC. It is the same form as we would get when leaving a paid job.

    You do not to do anything with it, just store it in a safe place.

    thank you so much ! Today we got a letter from job centre regarding ESA can count as taxable income and says amount it also says tax position has been checked but no refund due do I need to do anything about this letter please

    That sounds like another one requiring no further action, apart from filing it away.
