Hi! Some years ago I took my dog for a run. A guy approached and he was terrified because he had seen a bat!

The poor guy! I don't mind seeing them through a window but think I'd be scared too if one was near me. I just always think of that scene in Jumanji π§

I love how the shark appears to explode for no reason at the end @Wibbles π

It was obviously anti-shark spray - which is known to be highly explosive !

You should see the huge bats in Mauritius.

Those look enormous @jonf! I can see why people find them a bit scary but I do find them cute. Especially those fruit bats with the huge eyes. I just remembered this video of a cranky little bat eating a banana:

His little face π

that is a very cute bat in the video but I would not want to be on the receiving end of those teeth.

They are a bit off-putting! Luckily I think those kinds of bats only eat insects and fruit, although he looks like he'd have a bit of a chomp if you crossed him π

Maybe people who are fearful of bats have seen too many Dracula movies?!!! Dracula can also turn into a wolf. I once has a dog who was accused several times of being a wolf, but she never drew blood - as far as I know!

It's intriguing. I had no idea that bats shunned eucalyptus or lavender. The next time I'm considering what to put in the garden, I'll remember that. Thanks for that."

Cat or Bat ?
Remember its Halloween on Friday - don't get the answer wrongβ¦

If you made a ball of dry lavender the put it in their nest they will leave immediately.
In Canada they use an electronic device and the poor bats crash.
