Hi, my name is camelliabutt!
I am 81 I get high rate dla. I have one leg shorter than the other due to a long wait for a hip replacement. I am a driver but have had to forfeit my licence due to a fall that caused a brain haemorrhage 2 months ago. I have since had 3 more bad falls needing hospital treatment. Could I get a disability scooter to use as I find taxis so very expensive to avoid falling everywhere I go. I need constant appointments at my GP and hospitals

It looks like you can access the Motability scheme with high rate DLA yes
You can also ask at your local Hospital about Hospital Transport.
