LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods before LCWRA is added to your payment. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

Did you have any gaps in Fit Notes?

It is the date they are given to UC that counts, not the start date written on them.

Do you claim with a partner who gets LCWRA themselves?

Do you have any Transitional Protection on your claim?

HHi There are no gaps in my fit notes and the 16th of June is the date the fit note is uploaded on my journal also my partner doesn't recieve benefits and I don't know what transitional protection is. Thank you!

If you have Transitional Protection on your claim, it will be listed on your payment statement. Not everyone does.

If you do, it will reduce by the LCWRA element amount which is £423.27.

My estimate of your waiting period:

May/June: Partial Assessment Period not counted for waiting period

    June/July: AP 1

    July/August: AP 2

    August/September: AP 3

    September/October: Eligible for LCWRA element

October 27th: First LCWRA element paid.

If LCWRA is missing from your next statement, 1 month is owed.

Backpay is calculated separately and this usually takes several weeks at least.

You'll know when this has been done as a letter will be added to your Journal stating the amount owed due to underpayment.

The money will then be paid within a few working days.

A new version of the statement will be added.
