hi there and welcome to the forum. I am so glad that I have some knowledge in this area and I would recommend Amazon or have a look at some travel vloggers on YouTube they have some great advice when it comes to electric wheelchairs.

The only other thing I would recommend is that you have a look at the coffee lounge for a general chat and the games den for some fun.

If you can, get to https://www.naidex.co.uk or a motabily event https://motabilityschemelive.co.uk/news/2025-dates/

    See also https://www.motaclarity.co.uk/news/mobility-events-and-exhibitions-for-disabled-drivers-and-passengers

You can test drive and chat to other users..

Make a list of questions.. Does it need to be lightweight, off-road, what are you using it for, mostly?

'The Girl' has gone from an add-on 'benoit' power pack on a Karma manual to the lightweight folding ' EEzeeGo folding powered chair (at 14 kg its the lightest on the market.'. And will go in the back of most taxis..
Her other chair is a bigger and higher range Trekenetic.

Go for lighter batteries.. Lead is gonna weight a ton.,. Most are lithium ion. Although if power chair batteries can advance as fast as EV's are we're gonna have sodium ion in chairs or better before long.. Less charging between rides and better for all:)

Have you had a look at Mobility Giant? I got both my scooters from there.

    they’re all quite expensive

I want a whill c2 from tga. A few people have made videos about it. Whill f might be closer to your price range . It’s foldable but heavy to put in a car.

I just got in touch with access your life website , they will recommend power chairs for you . Tell them what you’re looking for in a powerchair

They recommended the QR50 power chairs for me that come in standard and lighter versions . The lighter version is 14kg.

They also recommended a wheelchair with a power add on and a joystick

Access your life recommends whill c2 and whill f
