I had a fall last wednesday

Hi to all,

I took the g children to the park last wednesday and they were running round thn decided to go in the hedge near the swings i couldnt see them so went to look for them so i went up to next level of field coundnt see them i went to walk back down and lost my balance landed on my R hip

I was shouting my grandson and grandaugter they did come i managed to get myself up by pulling on my walking stick found them and went home but i was in agony i thought i had broken something

So after they went home i phoned 111 and they sent an ambulance out

Still not right and for the past 24hrs i have had servre diorhhea constantly i can not win so back at docs in the morning.

I was very lucky i didnt break anything but i am still not right.

I am waiting to have a dexa scan and also a blood test for myeloma.

Always something.

    I'm really sorry to hear that and wish you better very soon @amazingblazing628. I've had my DEXA scan recently and hope you don't have to wait too long for yours. I nearly went flying a few days ago on wet leaves in my garden, had two fractures previously so walking extremely tentatively now!! Take good care and all the best to you.

    Sorry to hear of your accident. Bruising can take quite a while to present its' self unfortunately and can last quite a long time. You may be experiencing the diarrhoea as a result of 'delayed shock' which can occur following a trauma such as yours, so hopefully this too will settle in time. Hopefully, your DEXA scan will be processed fairly soon for you.

    I'm always falling,I've broken bones,I've cut myself,bruised myself all over, last week I passed out in a local shop, this is different to my mobility falls, it was pain related, everybody walked past me. Left me slumped. I was in agony and soaked in sweat prob thought I was drunk, I dont drink ever. But I was unwell ,for all they knew i could have been having a heart attack. Wasn't feeling the love that day.
