Mandatory reconsideration help
I wasn’t awarded pip as my assessor used my degree against me. In secondary school I couldn’t get help from my school as I didn’t know about neurodivergence and my family don’t believe in mental health issues or neurodivergence. Therefore I had to go through school without any official help. However I went to tutoring every Saturday and went to a class after school for extra maths help which my teacher created. I’m very distressed as I have no familial support in this. I struggled with the pip assessment as I struggle to speak to others. I didn’t know a paper assessment existed. I wish I could go back in time.

You can request a paper assessment but agreeing to one is at the discretion of the assessment provider, they don't have to say yes.
I'd suggest contacting a local welfare rights organisation.

I think it’s too late now for that. As the assessment is over and I have to do mandatory reconsideration now. But thank you!

I realise that, I was meaning even if you knew about paper assessments before it's not something that's in your control to receive.
