Bucket list for retirement

Do you have a bucket list of things that I you plan to do when you retire?

I don't but now regret that ……. I have retired, from work, twice already (medically at age 47 and again at age 57). My health has deteriorated in the last 5 years - so that is it for work - I await my state pension in 5 years !

    Never too late @Wibbles! Even if it's a different list to what you'd originally intended. Do you have any thoughts about what you'd have on there? 😊

    Can't work for health reasons

    I do know my state pension will be significantly less than the benefits I get now

    God knows how Il manage

    AmberPearl, when you reach state pension age you might be able to claim Attendance Allowance.

    I can't imagine having a 'bucket list' for over the age of 67. I am feeble enough at aged 50. Gus will be gone in 5 to 8 years time, and i doubt i will go outdoors much after that. Maybe I will get a few raised beds out the back or something.

    Id LOVE to be in the position to buy a large plot of land to take care of all the neglected stray, disabled and abled cats so they can roam safely and freely and eat like the Kings and Queens that they are, and for all of their needs be taken care of in every puurrrrfect way 💯

    I got p.i.p for a ten year ongoing award that will take me past retirement age.

    If you still meet the criteria and you could try for pension credit.

    I assume that you are getting your National Insurance credits paid by DWP ?

    So you will receive a Full state pension (£230.25 per week)
