Hi, does anyone have any recommendations for accessible holidays (UK or abroad) with carer support please? Thanks

    Hi @jharding, I'm afraid I don't have any personal recommendations myself, but I hope the community can share some soon.     When you say you're looking for carer support, do you mean that you'll be bringing an existing carer on your holiday? Or would you be looking for a carer who could support you while you travel? If it's the latter, there are a few companies offering carer companions for going on holiday:

    I would highly recommend Jersey in the Channel Islands. We drove our wheelchair accessible vehicle to Poole and got the ferry over which took 4 hours. We stayed at Maison des Landes hotel which is specifically built to be accessible (hoists in rooms, fully wheelchair accessible, even has a hydrotherapy pool). There was loads of stuff to do in Jersey, there’s a beach wheelchair charity too so you can borrow beach accessible wheelchairs for free. We would definitely recommend it there. Hope that helps!
