following this argument, I’m not sure why we had a lockdown.
we should all have worked and carry on as completely normal and whoever goes, goes.0 -
Herd immunity but each to there own way of thinking

Not at all. That would leave the country with fewer working people and a larger percentage out of work. Literally the opposite to that argument!

No, cause when lockdown was introduced, the risks were for very the old people, for everyone else was just a 2 week flu.
Also, so what does this society of yours do with those key workers, that went to work so that the system would not collapse and everyone else could protect themselves, and now are left disabled?
shall we then introduce euthanasia then for those that can’t do the work horse load?
I think your idea of society is more aligned with the Germany of the 1930s0 -
I'm afraid you're projecting your own ideas onto what I wrote.
It is just basic maths that if there are more people taking money from a capitalist society than providing for it then it cannot be sustained. It really is that simple.
The complex part is deciding how to manage finances for those who can't work for whatever reason. But clearly that needs to be a small percentage compared to those who are in work.

Capitalism is not a bad system, it just depends how you implement it.
Check the current wealth distribution and how the wealth got to be distributed this way, especially since the crash in 2009, that’s not capitalism, that’s abuse of the system
Theres enough for everyone in this world to live a comfortable life and take care of those that need to.
