hi there would like advice please
I started to claim ESA in August was still employed due to my illness I was medically retired in September I had a assessment in October and told I was in the LWCRA group does this mean I will automatically be awarded a extra payment it didn’t state anything on my letter just that I’m in the LWCRA group and my esa will be going up end of November

Yes this happens automatically.

Sorry I was receiving around 180 a fortnight ESA that’s going up to approximately 240 a fortnight is the LWCRA extra to that or is that included in the 240

The rate is £92.05 Basic Allowance + £48.50 for Support Group (LCWRA is a Universal Credit term).
