UC, PIP, appointee and capital

Hi, just looking for advice or if anyone has had similar.
I am my son’s appointee. He is severely disabled and has recently started receiving PIP and receives LCW. He has never had mental capacity so to manage his benefits (PIP and UC) I have a separate bank account in my name, separate to my own account that his benefit is paid into. I’ve recently had a review of our own UC and they’re claiming this account is being classed as my capital therefore is affecting our UC entitlement. I’ve been into UC providing bank statements, The BF57 claiming I am his appointee an his UC entitlement and the decision maker has still come back stating that this is classed at my capital. Has anybody had anything similar or can offer any advice please?
