does anyone know if there are disabled swimming sessions at government pools in uk.
Maybe they don’t have the staff

That seems unlikely to me, based on quite the range of disabilities out there. Lots of very different skills...
In Liverpool the Brothers Of Charity has a wheelchair accessible swimming pool at Thingwall Hall. Gently ramped at the bottom end so one just pushes a wheelchair straight into it. That's where I demonstrated why I can't swim but I haven't been there since I stopped working there years ago.

I want to swim or try in a normal pool. Only need help getting in and out, fed up with hospital pool
