Severe disability premiums
Hello looking for some advice about sdp when i phoned council they said phone dwp when i phoned DWP they said they don't deal with it as I'm on universal credit.. i am on pip both enhanced industrial injuries benefit LWRCA & universal credit.. i know there's a form 1S10 but no one seems to want to send it . I retire February 25th & my LWRCA will stop so was hoping that I could be entitled to £82 severe disability premium any help would be appreciated thanks

Hi @bcfc, Sorry if I've misunderstood, are you reaching state pension age in February? Unfortunately, it's unlikely that you would be eligible for the disability premiums if that's the case.
It may be worth speaking to a benefits adviser to see if there's anything else that you could be eligible to claim once you retire. For example, if you're on a low income, things like pension credit. Or if you need help with care, attendance allowance.
