For the Past 4 days i have been getting blood in my catheter bag every day ive put it on when i went to hosp on friday after ive seen about my endoscopy appintment i went accross and said to urology about this and they just said contact sheffield urology i cannot get hold of them so after ive been with my daughter in the morning i am going to contact them again.

    That sounds really worrying, especially when you’re seeing blood in the catheter bag for several days and can’t get through to anyone. You’ve absolutely done the right thing by trying to contact urology, and it’s frustrating when you can’t get hold of them.

    If you’re still seeing blood or if it gets worse, it might be worth calling 111 for advice, just so someone can assess how urgent it is while you wait for urology to respond. They can sometimes arrange for you to be seen sooner if needed.

    I hope you manage to get through to Sheffield urology tomorrow — please let us know how you get on. You’re not alone with this.

    That doesn't sound good @amazingblazing628. Like PracticeWotUPreach said, 111 may be able to help if you can't get in touch with your team. It's probably good to get seen sooner rather than later and then you can always touch base with urology afterwards.

    Please can you go and get checked.I don't want to alarm you and it might not be anything but this reminds me of something that happened to my dad.So please don't leave it.Go ahd get it checked

    I don't have anything extra that others have said, but just literate you need to get this checked just for piece of mind. Hopefully you manage to get through to urology soon, but don't wait. Please get it seen today even if it means a trip to a&e. All the best.

    Hi to all,

    Thankyou i phone 111 and they said go get checked docs phoned me and said because i had a clear cytoscopy they R not worried so left it but my cytoscopy isnt clear because their is a white thing inside my bladder they R taking the mic also i have my bowel scan tommorow went back to a& e thursday night about servre bowel pain scan tommorow and more bleeding.
