yes but in my case it's quite a problem at times, to try remain living in a time where I was happy I have been listening to the same songs and watching the same shows for about 30 years.
I've watched Brookside beginning to end 3 times that's nearly 3,000 episodes
Prisoner cell Block H and sons and daughters 6 times through that's 692 & 972 episodes respectively.
shortland Street the first 15 years 1992-2007 4 times that's about 2900 episodes also.
As much as I love them and they comfort me I realise it's not healthy to watch the same thing that many times.
Of course I do watch films and a few new things too but it's often the main cycle.
the autism lady who diagnosed me did explain it, apparently it's actually common in autistics to have a fairly rigid viewing pattern.

Sending even more compassion and empathy your way too @Nightcity .
Im similar to yourself watching things over and over again .
Its part of who u r and i wouldnt put yourself down for that one bit .
We are all unique in our own way .
I myself have a rigid viewing pattern .
Talking with people like you helps me to realise Im not as awful as some people make me out too be .
Sending Gigantic big hugs your way and thank you for chatting to me

It's always a pleasure, and glad I've inadvertently helped you!
We are just who we are I guess it may be unusual but I'm sure I'll rewatch them all at least one more time in my life.
